Here I assume that you are talking about XMLmind XML Editor and not about XMLmind XSL Utility[*]. It's very hard to help you because we have no way to reproduce the problem you describe. Please proceed as follows: [1] Uninstall XMLmind XML Editor. [2] Manually delete your user preferences directory. [3] Reinstall XMLmind XML Editor. [4] Start XMLmind XML Editor and using "Options|Install Add-ons", install all the add-ons you need including "RenderX XEP XSL-FO processor plug-in". [5] Restart XMLmind XML Editor. Select "Options|Install Add-ons" again. Select the "Uninstall" tab and check that "RenderX XEP XSL-FO processor plug-in" is listed there. Then click Cancel to close the dialog box. [6] Now try to convert a document to PDF by selecting DocBook, Topic, Map, XHTML, etc | Convert Document | Convert to PDF. If this submenu is missing then you are not using XMLmind XML Editor Professional Editor or you are using an incomplete custom configuration. [7] XMLmind XML Editor will inform you that the conversion to PDF has failed and will prompt your for the installation directory of RenderX XEP. [8] Specify this directory and restart XMLmind XML Editor. [9] Try again to convert your document to PDF. This time, it should work. --- [*] There is no need to install "RenderX XEP XSL-FO processor plug-in" in XMLmind XSL Utility. It's already installed out of the box. Suffice to convert a document to PDF to complete the installation of "RenderX XEP XSL-FO processor plug-in". -- XMLmind XML Editor Support List [email protected] http://www.xmlmind.com/mailman/listinfo/xmleditor-support
