Thank you for your quick reply You are right, Docbook stylesheets delegates image scaling to the browser. I hope to have a while to implement the enhancement, but it will require extra Java code out of XSLT maybe this can't be packed into Docbook stylesheets. Anyway I will let you know about my findings.
