I'm sorry but the answer is no. XMLmind XML Editor has not yet been tested against Java 7. We plan to do that for XXE v5, which is planned for next September. This also means that XXE v4+ running on Java 7 will never be officially supported by XMLmind. May be it's just xxe.exe which hangs. In such case, may be you should give xxe.bat a try. xxe.bat is found in XXE_install_dir/bin/.
