--> Please download the RecipeBook add-on for XMLmind XML Editor from
this location:

--> How to install this add-on?

Let's suppose you have downloaded the add-on file to
C:\tmp\recipebook.zip

[A] You first need to instruct XXE that some add-ons are found locally,
in directory C:\tmp

This is done by:

[1] Selecting menu item "Options|Preferences".

[2] Selecting preferences section "Install add-ons".

[3] Checking the "Search add-ons in this directory" checkbox.

[4] Specifying "C:\tmp" in the text field below the checkbox.

See attached screenshot install_addon_found_in_local_dir.png.

[B] Then, you need to actually install the add-on in XXE.

Procedure:

[1] Select menu item "Options|Install add-ons".

[2] Select the add-on called "RecipeBook" by checking its checkbox.

See attached screenshot select_recipebook_addon.png.

[3] Click OK.

[4] Restart XXE as instructed by the application.

--> How to use this add-on?

* Use menu item "File|New", select one of the two items (e.g. "recipe"
found below "RecipeBook", click OK.

AND/OR

* Download some of the "recipebook xml" files found in
http://www.happy-monkey.net/recipes/ and open these XML files in XXE.

* You can use the "RecipeBook" menu to convert a recipe to the following
formats: HTML, RTF, .docx, .odt and PDF.

However using this facility requires having XMLmind XML Editor
Professional Edition and also downloading and installing the following
add-ons (using menu item "Options|Install add-ons"):

- "XMLmind FO Converter XSL-FO processor plug-in" (generates RTF, .docx,
.odt).

- "Apache FOP 1.x XSL-FO processor plug-in" (generates PDF).

Temporarily changing free Personal Edition to the equivalent of
Professional Edition is done by getting and installing an evaluation key
in a running Personal Edition. More information:
