Hello Hussein, I used the add-on menu to remove DITA and XHTML, which is indeed simpler. The DocBook4.x add-on is apparently bound to the DocBook5 one I want to keep, so I just used the "custom configuration file" way, which works fine using the "Quick Start Cache" dialog. Other question : I added to the DocBook5 toolbar a replication of the menus "DocBook" -> "Column", "Row" and "Cell" but the menus below the icons in the toolbar are not translated as I expected(when using a FR UI). I tried to add an additional translation file and it works fine for the custom tool bar buttons tooltip but not for the labels in the menus below them. Is the content of the menus in the tool bar translated? Kind regards,  Maxime

See http://www.xmlmind.com/xmleditor/_distrib/doc/help/advancedOptions.html#cacheOptions --> Also note that as of v4.8, you can simply delete the whole XXE_install_dir/addon/config/dita/ directory to get rid of DITA (or equivalently, but always safer, uninstall the bundled DITA configuration using "Options|Install Add-ons"). See http://www.xmlmind.com/xmleditor/changes.html#v4.8.0 --- It's now possible to use Options|Install Add-ons, Uninstall tab, to remove one or more of the four bundled configurations: "XHTML configuration", "DocBook configuration", "DocBook v5+ configuration", "DITA configuration". If you are sure that you'll not need a bundled configuration if the future, it's now perfectly safe to uninstall it. Doing this should slightly improve the startup time and the memory footprint of XMLmind XML Editor. However be warned that: * On some platforms, administrative privileges may be required to uninstall a bundled configuration. * Unlike the other add-ons, a bundled configuration cannot be re-installed using Options|Install Add-ons.
