The ID of a topic is automatically added by  XMLmind XML Editor when

* you first save a newly created topic to disk

and

* you didn't specify this ID by hand.

Once an ID has been given to a topic, XMLmind XML Editor will not change 
it because it cannot make a difference between an author-specified ID 
and an automatically created ID.

In a nutshell, the answer to your question is: sorry, no. You'll have to 
adjust all your topic IDs by hand.

Sure. Please use the ``search box'' found at the top of all the pages of
