No problem. Excerpts from http://www.xmlmind.com/xmleditor/support.html

You don't need to be a list member to post a message.

You may also want to

     * browse the mailing list archive,

     * use the search box found at the top/right of every page
of this web site to search this archive,

You need to click "Next" in this page:
http://www.xmlmind.com/xmleditor/_distrib/doc/help/install.html until
you reach the appropriate section.

This being said, there is currently no section about installing XMLmind
on the Mac, because we naively thought that this was not needed.

We'll try to improve this part of the documentation for the next release:
[1] Do not pretend that the .dmg is an automated installer.
[2] Add install instructions for the Mac.
[3] Better organize the "Install" chapter.

You guessed it right.

Unlike what happens on Windows (where there is a Registry), on the Mac,
most so-called automated installers simply spare you the effort of
dragging the contents of the .dmg to your "Applications" folder.

The names of the sub-folders speak by themselves:

doc/ contains a local copy of this documentation:
http://www.xmlmind.com/xmleditor/documentation.shtml

demos/ contains a number of XML files you could open with XMLmind to see
what can be done with our XML editor.

Other than that, you can simply ignore these folders. You can even
delete them if they bother you. The only important folder is called
"XMLEditor" (in fact, application folder "XMLEditor.app", if you have
configured the Finder to see file extensions)

---
PS: When you'll want to uninstall XMLmind XML Editor, simply delete its
folder (i.e. the xxe-perso-5_1_1/ folder that you have dragged to your
"Applications" folder).
