Thanks, that worked for me. I also (apparently) needed to disable/clear the Quick Start cache.

Simply create an XML catalog (http://xerces.apache.org/xml-commons/components/resolver/resolver-article.html) pointing to a local copy of the schema. Of course, this local copy would not contain the bug. It's so simple that I've done that for you. Please copy the 2 attached files to the *addon* *subdirectory* of your user preferences directory, restart XXE, clear the schema cache and you are done.
