This is really, really, strange. When I generate HTML out of DocBook documents using XMLmind XML Editor on my Linux box (openSUSE 64-bit), as expected, I always get Unix-style end of lines (i.e. '\n' and not "\r\n"). Are you running XMLmind XML Editor using the OpenJDK bundled with Ubuntu? If this is the case, you may want to give Sun/Oracle Java a try: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/index.html Also note that XMLmind XML Editor is not tested against the OpenJDK and that we officially support Sun/Oracle Java and Apple Java, but no other implementation of Java. > > Is there a way to make sure the generate html option adds a proper > newline to the html output - seems like everything is DOS format. > Ref attached html file. No, not to my knowledge, but may be I missed the XSLT stylesheet parameter allowing to specify this. You may want to look at the reference manual by yourself: DocBook XSL Stylesheet Reference Documentation http://docbook.sourceforge.net/release/xsl/current/doc/ -- XMLmind XML Editor Support List [email protected] http://www.xmlmind.com/mailman/listinfo/xmleditor-support
