Indeed.  I suggest to all users at my company when they install XXE to adjust 
these particular settings, since I’ve seen too many people squinting at the 
screen without realizing that they can adjust the font size.  It seems to 
default smaller than most other applications, at least on the Mac.  Making the 
application defaults a little larger would be a good move IMHO.
