One question has come back, though: at the moment, generating WebHelp
automatically includes a link to ajax.googleapis.com
<http://ajax.googleapis.com> for the js scripts and stylesheet. The
application often runs on standalone PCs with no web access, for
security reasons. For test purposes, we've edited the .html output to
use local copies, but I was wondering whether there is any way of doing
this at compilation time; of course, I'd have to know/specify the path
to the local scripts/stylesheet. It would not be a problem for me to
make sure they were stored in the resources sub-folder.

You have already requested this feature several months ago and it was implemented several months ago (as of XXE v5.7, July 23, 2013).

Simply pass XSLT stylesheet parameter:

wh-local-jquery

with value:

yes

and you are done.

See http://www.xmlmind.com/ditac/_distrib/doc/manual/xsltParams.html#xsltParams__wh-local-jquery

Still learning, of course :-} used Alt+Shift+down arrow for the first
time this morning, thanks to the QRC on the wall next to my desk.
