The "Edit source" is not a ``feature'' (i.e. like the "File|Folder" submenu) you can turn off by unselecting the corresponding checkbox in "Options|Preferences" "General|Feature" section.
"Edit source" is an add-on you can uninstall if you don't need it. Please use "Options|Install Add-ons", "Uninstall" tab to do that.
