We are currently evaluating the use of XMLMind in a future version of
one of our applications.

I downloaded the evaluation version and built the jars for use as
embedded Swing-Component via deployxxe. I added the jars to our
application where I added the XMLPanel2 via SWT-AWT-Wrapper to the
existing SWT-GUI. Doing this I encountered two problems:

1.When the initial height of the Composite that contains the XMLPanel2
is very low (for example 200px), XMLMind behaves a bit strange. The
buttonicons are not rendered correctly and handling of resize-events
becomes very slow. When I increase the initial height (to for example
800px) everything works fine.

2.Resizing leads to serious flickering of the XMLMind-GUI (this also
happens in a much weaker way when natively used in an AWT-Frame).

We really love your tool and would be very happy if you could help us
fixing these problems.

We would be glad to help you. The problem is that we don't have any software engineer here at XMLmind who has ever programmed SWT or/and or who knows anything at all about the AWT/SWT bridge technology.

FYI, a few years ago, a company has purchased a developer license in order to integrate XMLmind XML Editor's components (low-level ones such as StyledDocumentPane; not high-level XMLPanel2) into their specialized IDE/Studio based on the Eclipse platform.

This customer has renewed her/his purchase several times since then to have access to latest releases. Therefore I suppose she/he managed to make it work.
