No. The 2.0 branch is the current production branch, out of which we should be able to create a 2.0.1 or 2.1 release at any time. The currrent HEAD is the official development branch. The streaming branch and the HEAD are completely unrelated. If the community decides to promote the former at any time, then it could become the new HEAD.
Any plans on when the next release will be of 2.0 will be? How much is left on 2.0-streaming before beta stage?
Henri has recently proposed a version 2.0.1. The only reply was mine: "Very well, if you do the release."
