Hello,
I experience strange problems running Apache XML-RPC client in Linux
environment. The application connects locally to a XML-RPC service. The
HTTP connection establishment takes about 3 minutes. The same
application, running on my development Windows machine (also with a
connection over Internet), connects within seconds to the same service.
I've checked various transport factories (Sun, Commons, Lite) and the
effect was the same. I've already checked the firewall (I dropped down
iptables), and the problems persists.
Did someone experience similar problems? Do you know other email
lists/forums where I could ask for help?
Rough system configuration:
Linux distribution: Debian 3.1
Java version: 1.5.0_08-b03
Server: Tomcat 5.0.28
XML-RPC version: 3.0
