Hashtable with non String keys

Greetings all,
I just noticed that the XMLWriter.writeObject() method expects any
Hashtable objects being written to have String keys.
Does anyone have a patch to make it accept any supported Java type as a
key? It's easy enough to work around that I don't want to invest time
making a change to the stable xmlrpc code, but wouldn't mind having the
functionality available.
