Have you specified Chinese encoding you are using at the start of your
xml  file like
   <?xml version="1.0" encoding="your encoding" ?>
BTW, what is the xmlsec output?

And as I wrote you before, it might be wise to ask this question in libxml2
mailing list. Some guys there might have an answer from the top of the head.

when i signatured a xml file containing DTD file,it will fail if the DTD file contains Chinese . So I consider that the signature cannot recognise a Chinese DTD file so that the signature cannot process the Chinese xml file.For example: <!ELEMENT books (#PCDATA||writer>
<!ELEMENT  (#PCDATA)>
<!ELEMENT writer (#PCDATA)>
I asked for help .How to process DTD including Chinese word.
Can you answer me or tell me who can resolve this problem?
Thanks a lot.
