Dear Aleksey,
I have changed to Multithread dll and includes the 3 static statements but the compiler gives linking error :
xmlsec.obj : error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol _xmlFree
xmlsec.obj : error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol _xmlMalloc
Debug/xmlsec.exe : fatal error LNK1120: 2 unresolved externals
Error executing link.exe.
xmlsec.obj : error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol _xmlMalloc
Debug/xmlsec.exe : fatal error LNK1120: 2 unresolved externals

What else I have missed out :-((
