Hi Aleksey and all,
For the next releases, could you update to autoconf 2.69 to be able
to build on ARM 64bits when it arrives without needing to patch
config.guess/config.sub ?
This correspond to the downstream Fedora bug
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=926809
there is a patch for interested parties in the meantime :-)
Files like config.sub and config.guests are part of automake repository.
Both files are not in xmlsec repository ( ref
https://git.gnome.org/browse/xmlsec/tree/ ).
I cannot see relation to autoconf . Bootstrap script will add to
distribution tarbal and depending from automake version those files may
support requested ARM hosts.
I think that after bootstrap, is save to replace both files with more
update version. May be best solution is to fetch current files from
primary source ( http://git.savannah.gnu.org/cgit/automake.git/tree/lib ) .
1) build repository
after bootstrap process replace files XXX
2) build form source tarbal
after extract
2.1) run bootstrap and replace files XXX
2.2) replace files XXX
3) continue with regular package creation.
Regarding issue 926809 I expect that repack of package FOO with new
config.XXX is enough .
