At any rate that issue may take a while to fix, so I hope this code can be included in the XMMS2 distribution in the mean time.
After two weeks of testing and thinking it was working fine I just discovered a small bug :-/ A "< 0" needs to be "<= 0" or files of a very specific duration never finish playing.
I won't send an updated patch just yet in case there are other things to change, so please let me know one way or the other.
