Hi everybody I just compiled the client code for the iPhone/iPad and managed to connect to the daemon running on another machine (ubuntu). Everything was relatively straight forward - except that I didn't find a way to configure the distribution for client x-compilation (I did not search that much though :). For a project I need the client lib for the iPhone so I'll definitely will continue to make sure it compiles for this platform. So the gsoc people can contact me if they'd like to team up and feed the stuff back into the repo.
