I'm trying to get jabberhole working. I'm not apposed to starting from
scratch on a proxy either. It seems to work fine until my server
negotiates encryption, at which point it completely fails. I'm thinking
I'll have to step in with the proxy and create the ssl connection from
the proxy to the server, and then again from the proxy to the client.
Does anyone have any other ideas? Do I seem to be on the right path?
Also, does xmpp4r handle encryption? I have ssh to the jabber server,
so I'm not apposed to disabling encryption completely in jabber and
going over an ssh port forward. My client doesn't seem to have this
option though, so I would have to fudge with the messages being sent
back and forth to make the server think the client can't do encryption.
