The tests fail. Not good but can be ignored. To work around it, try doing:
cd libxnee ; make # this will fail again
make install # Hopefully works
cd ..
cd cnee
make
make install
cd ..
cd gnee
make
make install
cd ..
cd pnee
make
make install
