That's a _lot_ of code removal :) I don't see much else to be put in the macros now. Maybe the install-data-hook could be completely generated if XORG_FONT_BDF_UTILS() or XORG_FONT_SCALED_UTILS() is called, but the patches and the cleanups are now much easier to read anyway. I don't think it'd be worth further troubles.
