Hello, I'm in a situation where I have a small ARM device outputting 720p via HDMI. The framebuffer is locked in the kernel, so the resolution is stuck at 1280x720. It's xserver 1.6.
However, there is some overscan. Since the modelines are fixed, I had hoped to fix it by creating a smaller Virtual (say 1200x640), and to offset it using "ViewPort 40 40". While it happily takes Virtual sizes larger than 1280x720, it doesn't seem to want to go down below the native output size. I could have sworn this was possible in the past. Could this be a regression with randr 1.2? Cheers, --Pat _______________________________________________ xorg-devel mailing list [email protected] http://lists.x.org/mailman/listinfo/xorg-devel
