If you search for multitouch on the March archives of the list, there's a few threads about it and why some approaches won't work. http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/xorg-devel/2010-March/ this one is the current approach that should provide some multi-touch to clients, but in a limited manner. It hasn't been completely refuted yet, so if you can do so, please go for it. http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/xorg-devel/2010-March/006206.html Cheers, Peter > > -----Original Message----- > From: Peter Hutterer [mailto:[email protected]] > Sent: Monday, May 10, 2010 8:29 AM > To: Micki Balanga > Cc: Ping Cheng; Rafi Rubin; [email protected]; Benjamin > Tissoires; Henrik Rydberg; [email protected] > Subject: Re: Multitouch wiki pages? > > On Mon, May 10, 2010 at 08:00:39AM +0300, Micki Balanga wrote: > > Hi All > > My name is Micki Balanga I work at N-trig (http://www.n-trig.com/) > > I am responsible on the Linux OS at the company. > > I have written an X11 driver which implement the MT support in Xorg, > > If you want I can upload the design concept > > Micki > > Hi Micki, > > do you do multi-touch inside the driver or did you modify the server > (and > the protocol) to get MT working? > > Cheers, > Peter _______________________________________________ [email protected]: X.Org development Archives: http://lists.x.org/archives/xorg-devel Info: http://lists.x.org/mailman/listinfo/xorg-devel
