I can't help with your question, but I'm curious: what motivated you to use kdrive instead of the Xorg server (that is, the xfree86 DDX)? I expect the xf86-input-evdev driver already works with your hardware, and if it doesn't, you'll have a better chance of getting help to fix it. The kdrive servers are largely unmaintained, and some of us are pushing to use the Xorg server everywhere. If there's something that makes the Xorg server unsuitable for your use case, I'd like to get that fixed. Jamey
