Wow. 8.0 is not even released yet. Even if it were released already,
that is a pretty narrow base.

conditionally?

Yes. I believe the patches I posted to the list already respect those,
but I'll have to double check. I need to respin them with Jesse's
comments anyway. I try to get to that soon.
