I know I've sent all the patches to Jon and the cygwin X mailing list, but I haven't kept track of how much has yet made it in. I've ported some of my package descriptions over to the new MXE. It should be pretty close to working - a "make xorg-server" will build and install all the deps (then fail to build the actual server, I expect), then you can try a cross-compile right from git using the environment it's set up. My repo is here: https://github.com/rpavlik/mxe/tree/xorg (The patches I added to that repo for any X-related library can be considered signed-off-by me.)
