I decided to push back the next release by a week since I didn't hear back on
the DRI2CreateDrawable2 issue yet; I wanted more time to go through the list of
changes from the past 2 months on master; and I wanted to give people more time
to send cherry-pick requests. Don't worry, 1.12 is scheduled through at least
XDS, and there will probably be a couple non-scheduled updates after that.

Since Debian is interested in 1.12, please do send cherry-pick requests for any
changes you are interested in, so other distros can benefit and we don't end up
in a situation where all the major distros have complex, disjoint patchsets.

Ok, so then what do we do about this? Is it really important enough to break
ABI, even considering that 1.13 is just around the corner? I'd think not, but
I'm willing to listen to arguments.
