Hello Ran, > Do you happen to have a keymap which is using any of the ISO stuff?
I do not have a keymap that use ISOLock. Furthermore, bugzilla does not seem to have any bug report on ISOLock. xkeyboard-config removed it from the compat section about two years ago, which means ISOLock cannot be activated using xmodmap anymore -- and nobody complained. So, one can be almost sure currently nobody uses it. > So examples might provide some motivation to review and test these patches. ISOLock can be interesting for layouts such as de(neo), with multiple levels which serve different functions and hence make sense to lock. My personal motivation to work on these patches is my own experience working on keyboard layouts. XKB is difficult enough to master for a user, but with bugs becomes even more of a pain. Therefore, I think it is worthwhile fix such issues.
