Right, I was mistaken about the dependency on the dashing code; the
first 0-width line patch does indeed handle all fill styles. I had
written the code in a different order, but when cleaning things up, I
also made sure the solid code used the fill programs.

I cannot explain why it fails for you. I've verified locally that the
server is going through the GL code path for tiled and solid lines,
and (in fact), the example works as expected here.

Surely your hardware hits the same pixels when asked to draw the same
line twice in a row?
