If your patches cause more work for the maintainers, they won't be applied. It's your responsibility to properly indent the code you modify. Looking at your mail headers from the patches you've sent recently, I see you send them using Thunderbird, which is a known offender when it comes to preserving whitespace. Try using "git send-email" instead.
