Here is below the test Xorg configuration (tst.conf). I just checked that 
removing sections related to other devices, and using only the sections related 
to the target device as a simple 'skeleton' fixes the issue too. But this last 
method is not what we want (I hope so). The logs with or without the patch are 
given too.

That's a bit vague.

Please provide the Xorg log and xorg.conf files corresponding to any
issues you're hitting.
