Hi,
By the way: I still like to add netbsd to the CI - major blocker
is lack of a suitable cloud image, where we can directly ssh into
w/o any authentication. (f.d.o folks don't like to host custom
images that cant be automatically reproduced - we'd need some
"official" ci/cloud image similar to what freebsd is providing)
This seems pretty unlikely to happen in the short term.
Why ? Anything we could help with ?
They are constantly kept up to date with the latest X server.
Which "latest" ? The 21.1 maintenance branch or master ?
I'd assume you wanted to mirror the repositories on
git.freedesktop.org,
Not necessarily, but at least let xorg-testing build all these
drivers on NetBSD target.
since we keep everything in a cvs monorepo.
From there we can work on other platforms and build machinery.
CVS and monorepo ? Seriously ? Why ?
I really would never ever go back to such a complicated and fragile
tool like CVS (nor SVN) anymore ...
I'm actually open to reintegrate drivers into Xorg tree (we already
have some in-tree), because we don't really have an *specified* API,
which makes refactoring unnecessarily hard (
