Unfortunately, "powerbook-duallink" is a bit of a > misnomer. I should have called it "powerbook-external". > My powerbook5,2 definately uses an external tdms for single-link DVI.. A friend of mine has a PowerBook3,5 and that uses an internal TDMS (MacModel "powerbook" woks for him). So i'm pretty sure that all PowerBook5,X models have an external tdms (either single or dual link). And PowerBook3,4 and PowerBook3,5 models have an internal tdms (Older powerbooks didn't have dvi out at all). See http://www.theapplemuseum.com/index.php for a list of all models. The info about the 5,6 having optional dual-link comes from http://developer.apple.com/documentation/Hardware/Developer_Notes/Macintosh_CPUs-G4/15inchPowerBookG4_Feb05/index.html?http://developer.apple.com/documentation/Hardware/Developer_Notes/Macintosh_CPUs-G4/15inchPowerBookG4_Feb05/1Overview/chapter_2_section_3.html and http://www.macworld.com/news/2005/01/31/powerbook/index.php -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. _______________________________________________ xorg-driver-ati mailing list [email protected] http://lists.x.org/mailman/listinfo/xorg-driver-ati
