I am using the radeon driver (6.7.196) on a PowerBook (PowerBook3,5) and as of
version 6.7.195 or so and the introduction of the MacModel option (set to
"powerbook"), I can get DVI output working for my external monitor (a Dell
2405FPW).
However, after a while (this varies between 5s and 10min), the external screen
blanks and this seems to have nothing to do with DPMS. Also, xrandr reports
that everything is just fine, the display is connected and used.
