With radeon drivers and KDE4 visual effects (or Compiz) enabled the screen
flickers only on the right side of the screen. If I disable the effects the
issue disappear. I have an ATI X1400 and I'm using Kubuntu 9.04.
Unfortunately with this issue it's impossible to work with radeon because every
single application that use 3d or animation or large textures (I tried the game
hedgewars and had the same issue) has this glitches, and latest proprietary
drivers have no support for X1400 on Kubuntu Jaunty.
