Without the nomodeset the DVI port is black. With monitors on both port VGA (monitor can do 1600x1200) and one on DVI port (monitor can do 1920x1200 x 60hz). Initial startup into text mode, both monitors show mirrored text. Starting X via startx, VGA monitor shows desktop, DVI monitor shows black screen.
