I can provide some more info if you like. And the other problem I find was when I tried to disable the LVDS on my laptop in xorg.conf to use only tv as an external monitor by adding this: Section "Monitor" Identifier "LVDS" Option "Disable" "true" EndSection doesn't matter if i use kms or not, the output on the tv was broken.
