Starting after updating to linux 2.6.38, -radeon 6.14.0 and the xserver 1.10
pre-beta snapshot several months ago I've found that on my dual head display,
the mouse pointer disappears when it is moved near the left edge of the right
monitor.
The same behavior does not happen on the left monitor, on any edge.
I've been keeping an eye out for anyone else reporting this problem but so far
haven't run across any similar reports. I wonder if this is something you've
seen?
