This is related to Bug #38530, but deserves its own report.

Basically, after some time, pixmaps show extreme corruption. Mostly they will
be blank in the lower half, sometimes more will be corrupt, but it is always a
"clean cut" with an unaffected upper portion and a completely garbled lower
portion. Sometimes, a portion of an affected pixmap shows uninitialised or old
content. This always happens after some time of normal use, and running
applications deteriorate over time.

I have also brought it up on the KDE BTS since it mostly affected KDE
applications, but right now the first thing to go was something in Firefox.

This happens on all kernels that support blitting on Evergreen hardware.
Manually reverting the commit which introduced that functionality "fixes"
things, but introduces the freezes from the old bug.

The hardware is very likely fine, since it does not show any corruption under
Windows even when running graphically complex games for extended periods of
time.

For screenshots illustrating the corruption visit the linked bug reports.
