I'm afraid that seems unlikely, since AFAICT there are no callers
passing RADEON_HOST_DATA_SWAP_HDW to RADEONCopySwap. Did you verify that
you're really hitting this code?

thanks for your reply.
I've sent two patches to the amd-gfx mailing list, one to just remove
that case (because it's indeed never called and most probably never will
be) and one to fix a bug re big-endian handling in RadeonCopyData.
