If that is true, why is neither the amdgpu nor radeon drivers that ship with
Ubuntu 16.04 (the only open source drivers it has for AMD GPUs) being detected
as supported? If I run `lshw -c video` the HD 6970M is listed as 'unclaimed',
implying no compatible driver was detected. Either there is a bug with the
driver compatibility detection or the card is not supported.
Also, if radeon driver supports every card, why bother having a supported GPU
list in the man page? Why not just say, 'all radeon hardware is supported'?
