Ok, I found a hint: the bug appears when I turn on the laptop without the power
cable. So if I turn on the laptop using just the battery, when start x the
rainbow screen of death appears and the keyboard, mouse and all don't work
anymore.
If I reboot the laptop with the powe cable connected, all works great.
