I just tested the kernel 4.19 rc1 and rc2 on Ubuntu 18.04 with open source
drivers. The problem persists. Instead of the HDMI 4K signal, the monitor
receives a DVI signal from 1080p from the video card (black screen), it's
absolutely abnormal. My video card does not have a DVI port, the monitor is
connected to HDMI. The same situation was in the case of installing drivers
from the site and with the kernel 4.18. The model of my video card is MSI Vega
64 Wave 8G. Can there be a problem with supporting a particular model? Now I do
not have a solution, and even assumptions.
