Hmm - that looks lke the 2.10.0 driver. Most of those modes are probably being rejected because of the very small default hsync and vsync range that is assigned to the "monitor". We have to fool X with a special "Monitor" section that avoids this problem. The new driver (which should be tested!!) uses the new output engine to set the mode and should be able to avoid these problems. That said, I haven't tried it without an xorg.conf yet, so I could be horribly wrong, but even if I am, the path to fix it should be easier in the new driver. Warren - can you update the bug?
