Are these regression new in GIT, and not present in the latest release? I remember Fedora composite having problems long ago, so if that's the same thing it's not a regression from the last release. If the Ubuntu GX bug also happens in the currently latest release, I would humbly suggest to release with keeping these bugs (it's not a regression then), fixing them ASAP after getting the new features out to the world, and doing a follow-up minor version release with the bug fixes once they are tracked down.
