Hello, My name is Rigo and I am from AMD customer support. We have a customer asking what are the supported Kernels and/or distributions by the Geode graphics driver.
They have tried to install Centos 5.5, 4.8, 4.7 and RHEL 6 Beta and their installation has failed. They want to know what are the supported kernels and/or distributions by the geode driver. Does anyone on this mailing list know the answer to that? Or does anyone at least know of any known recent working distributions or kernels that work with Geode driver? I tried ubuntu 10.10 and Ubuntu 11.4 and also had installation failure. Early in the installation I got some error that said "The installer encountered an unrecoverable error." Do any of you know if there are any known issues with recent distributions or kernels when installing on Geode Hardware? Ubuntu 10.4 works fine, but anything after that fails to install for me.
