Hullo.

I noticed that when I unplug my USB mouse and later plug it back in, it
doesn't work in X anymore/again.

An odd workaround I found and use now is that it works if after I plug it back
in I switch to a VT and back to the X session.

Here's the relevant 'xorg.conf' section:
---[snip]---
Section "InputDevice"
        ### Logitech NX80 (laser)
        Identifier "Mouse"
        Driver "evdev"
        #Option "Name" "Logitech USB Receiver"
        Option "Device" "/dev/input/event4"
        Option "Resolution" "1000"
        Option "ReopenAttempts" "500"
        Option "ButtonMapping" "1 0 3 4 5 6 7 8 2"
EndSection
---[snap]---

I'm using xf86-input-evdev-2.0.99.3 (a.k.a. 2.1_rc3) on xorg-server-1.5.2.

I *thought* that increasing ReopenAttempts would solve it, but I can't see any
results :/

Any ideas?

Cheers,
Matija
